As the Hydraulics and Mechanical Test Operator for Rolls-Royce, you will be performing the preparation, Installation, Removal, and derigging of Naval Propulsion Equipment onto Spin, and Articulating Test stands or shafts.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform all work accurately according to required standard processes and meet all quality standards
  • Use advanced troubleshooting expertise to identify complex operation and/or process issues in assigned area
  • Follow all established protocols such as housekeeping, tool control, and training plans
  • Work as part of an integrated manufacturing team to help the business meet its target
  • Have the ability to lift components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Have no allergic reaction to chemicals or materials used in performing related tasks

Basic Requirements:

  • High School Diploma with 2+ years experience in a lean/precision manufacturing environment
  • Mechanic background and ability to adapt
  • Ability to interpret both drawings and technical instructions
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficient with precision measuring tools (Micrometers, Indicators, etc.)
  • Background in hydraulics
  • Certified forklift operator
  • Skilled in using various cranes and lifting devices
