Congrats to all the new PE's this AM, meanwhile..... still waiting in VA.......... and waiting........ and waiting

I just spoke with PCS, per the direction of MD DLLR. PCS is waiting for approval from MD to allow NCEES to release the results. She said "it could be as early as this afternoon but hopefully no later than the middle of next week." I called MD DLLR back to see if she knew when the approval would be given, but it just rang and rang.
Jesus I am not going to get any work done the rest of the day
ok. Its 12:02pm EST !!!! Still nothing in MD.

Just checked. MD results are still not out. I got this from NCEES website "Exam results/diagnostics not yet available"

Florida - passed the Power. First time go. Thanks for all the insite and help from everyone on this board.

Looks like everyone is tracking pretty true to the Excel file. Mass picked up a few days since last year. That means VA stinks and it will probably be late Dec/early Jan.! What could possibly take them so much longer than other states?

I agree- it seems super low. I think they asked us about sitting for it in the past in the survey, but don't remember if we had to put down our # on that or if it was anonymous. I don't see how else they would know if we didn't. I can't imagine they take the time themselves to analyze based one name, especially since people's names can change, people take it in a different state than previous, etc... It was likely on the survey

I have no doubt that our accounts and all our attempts are in a database together (I can see my FE and PE tests in the MyNCEES for example). All they have to do is run a report on the db to see counts of who has taken what and which attempt for this exam, and by state as well. I would assume that is how they arrive at the numbers.

^^ Indeed. You have an NCEES number that you have to write, and I'm pretty sure it's the same for all examinations. Pretty easy to run a report on repeat test takers.

This is a timeline of release dates after the Oct 2010 PE exam. NCEES released results to the States on 12/29/2010. California results will be out on Monday 19 Dec according to CA Board website.
