I took it for the depth and passe (in 2005). I thought the AM was easy but the afternoon was really tough. It is hard to tell how hard it is going to be now that the whole test is specialized. I'm sure a big reason why I passed was Acing the easy AM. Plus I don't know how much you know about it. I'm sure a lot of people probably thought the whole test was simple. I'm sure the lady professor who taught my review class could have finished in an hour with 100%.Guys,
How tough is the Electrical and electronics specifications exam. Anyone who took this depth and passed it
I took that exact combo and passed on my first try. My background was mainly with electronics/instrumentation.Guys,

You should look at the NCEES sample questions and answers.
In my case every subject was covered but it is almost impossible to study for the communications part because they can ask almost everything.
You want to know your control theory, op amps, circuit analysis and transistor pretty well.
Good luck with your PE, although I am not sure why you're taking the Electrical since you listed Civil as a discipline on EB.I passed the FE on first try in the just released results - October 08. I looked at the scope for power depth and the electrical and electronics depth. The electrical and electronics depth kind of looked easier because its mostly based on the classes I took during my Bachelor's and my Masters. Thanks for your input because most of the people in this forum have taken the power depth module and I couldnt find any thread on the electrical and electronics depth.
