They suck.

I do keep a very detailed list of my time spent to the quarter hour, so that helps with my procrastination at least.
I'm with ya there... time sheets, I hate time sheets. I get an automated message if there hasn't been any action by Wed. morning. Sheesh spam.

Is there a cost code used for the time spent filling out the timesheet?

What's the worst part of y'alls fields?
Small company for me (4 full time employees) so show up at 8, leave at 4:30, no timesheets needed :)
But the worst part, you are on to something with architects.... but it's gotta be homeowners. Architects at least have some idea what they are talking about, but nothing worse than a homeowner building their own house.

Do you all have Teams at work?

It certainly is helpful and I am mindful that if I give a task to someone, I can expect questions and want to be as helpful as I can - but man, I cannot handle getting questions every two minutes as someone works through something. I can't concentrate when I'm getting bombarded with questions. Time to mute people on teams so I can focus spam

OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I HATE getting assigned projects where the homeowners are building their own house. Not only are their drawings always complete shit and you have to try to explain why the roof lines don't make sense or whatever, but you have to hold their hand for everything and you spend soooo much time having to answer questions even the crappiest builders would already know. And of course these projects goes over contract fee every time. Don't know why my company still accepts projects from one time clients like that. We don't really need them.

Yes we have Teams! It is nice. I like being able to do a quick call and screen share. I would not like it so much if I was a supervisor or manager though.
