I get frustrated driving in Denver.....but is has that Ham store! It’s too much like Houston lite.

Agree, I have a few friends who live there, and I see all these pictures. But, no to Denver...too City. I need to be a little more away from people.
It was so less crazy here when I first moved here. Now there's such an influx of people that it's reminding me of SoCal. And so many of them don't know how to drive on snow/ice.

Mine too. I usually have to stand outside in the rain with him for solidarity.
I've invested in a 'golf' umbrella (which I guess is just a huge umbrella) so I hold that over us. I think the girl doggo appreciates it. She's a total wimp regardless. She's also afraid of leaves blowing across the yard. The single leaves are the scariest. Descended from wolves my foot...

Looks like there's finally some reason in the forecast, eh @squaretaper PE?
My bike commuter buddies and I are planning to do a rain ride (well, just our regular commute, but with the longer option and it has to be pouring) to test out our gravel riding setup. Gonna be miserable and fun.

That’s why my mother vowed to never visit or move where it snowed, in all of her adult life. She said she had enough as a kid.
When I do drive in it, I’m the grandma people are honking at.

My dad grew up in Rochester, NY, so he got the whole lake-effect snow.  He hates snow soooooo much and though he knows how to drive in it, and passed it onto us kids, he def wants to become a Hawaii snowbird.  He's actually going to be skyping his students during January since he's out there for 20-something days to avoid the cold/snow.

When I drive in the snow I go as quickly as my car can handle.  Little Corolla has gone through many blizzards without skidding out!
