Hello spam, my old friend
I've come to spam with you again
Because a spam softly creeping
Left its spam while I was sleeping
And the spam that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of spam

In restless dreams I spam alone
Narrow streets of spam
'Neath the halo of a street spam
I turned my spam to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon spam
That split the night
And touched the sound of spam

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand spam, maybe more
Spam talking without speaking
Spam hearing without listening
Spam writing songs that voices never share
No one dared
Disturb the sound of spam

"Fools" said I, "You do not know
Spam like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might spam you
Take my arms that I might spam you"
But my spam like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of spam

And the people bowed and prayed
To the spam god they made
And the spam flashed out its warning
In the spam that it was forming

And the spam said, "The spam of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of spam

A masterpiece if I've ever heard one.

This was a really interesting piece.  I'm still reading it, but it is a reallly good read.
It is! And long so I broke up my reading it (I hate staring at screens for a super long time - I'm screwed when my drawing marks have to go digital)
