We get way too many of those guys here. Is it the introverted socially awkward engineer thing, non-native english speaker thing, or something else?

You'd think that if someone was in the position to take the test that they'd have the tiniest slither of common-sense.

so I didn't get into it on here but at the MD exam, there was an older gentleman who had a stack of stapled papers confiscated. the proctors were super nice about things they took away from folks. they actually gave a lot of stuff back. for instance, I had a pack of reinforcements stuffed in a pocket that I forgot about, so I handed them over. 

so anyway, the exam is over. the proctors hands all of our stuff back to us except for the papers. the man goes up to the proctor's table to get his papers. the proctor stops him and says "no I'm sorry you can't have these back". I think they were taken DURING the exam so there may have been an issue of whether he copied something down in the packet. 

anyway, he's all upset. he gets louder. he's pulling on the packet. another proctor walks up to explain to him that he needs to leave the building and leave the packet with them. we are all packing up to leave so it's not like he's being kicked out. again he was older and I don't think English was his first language. when I walked pass the proctors, the section proctor said "...and I'll make sure to write down exactly what he said to me..." I walked away quickly but I wouldn't be surprised if his exam was invalidated. 

I murmured to myself "dude, let it go." but quickly realized that I needed to mind my own business so I scurried away as quickly as possible.

You'd think that people vying for PE licensure would do at least some research into how the exam is scored before taking it... Or at least before asking a group of complete strangers on the internet.

You'd think that people vying for PE licensure would do at least some research into how the exam is scored before taking it...

Honestly, I would think that the overwhelming majority just take the test and worry about those details later. Maybe they might recall something a professor or colleague told them years ago and run with it.

 Or at least before asking a group of complete strangers on the internet.

Could be applicable to the PE or to literally anything else in life!
