for me it was. the change was obvious especially back then. Female engineer that still looked right out of school. My comments and things were taken more seriously.Not always.

None of my management chain has it. My previous supervisor did, but he's moved on to better projectsWell I am not absolutely sure my raises and/or promotions depend on it, but the amount of S%$# I will get from my supervisors who are PE's if I don't pass it is what I am most dreading!!
No actual bump, I was just informed after the fact that, for some reason, my career suddenly depended on itI am sure we are all in the same boat. Those 2 letters makes for a nice pay bump.

My two direct supervisors have it and they both passed the first time so they already give me S%$# for not passing my first time, I can't even imagine the S&%$ I will get if I don't pass it the second time!! Sounds bad ***!I work in systems for Space Station experiments, basically a PE license does nothing for me, I'm hoping to pass in case I have to work outside of the NASA world some day
