Just wanted to say hi - and also thanks for such a great resource!

I am NOT an engineer, but I work for a multi disciplined group of engineers and I have assisted MANY engineers with their applications - compiling documents and provided the equivalent of test anxiety therapy. This is the only test I know of where the anxiety applies both before AND after the test for such an extended duration.

I think I have a pretty good record about 99% of the ones I assist pass their first go round.

Anyway - since I have some professional interest in the test process (even though I thank the PTB every day I will never have to take it!!) I figured I had lurked long enough.

1) welcome

2) So are you an admin for an engineering firm? human resources?

Admin for a forensic engineering firm. Admin is probably an understatement though - I do most of their CAD work and a good portion of their job organization. Because credentials are so important in our field though I always help prepare applications and make sure all the engineers get records through NCEES as soon as they can. For me knowing thing like test eligibility for the different states and the variety of application rules for the various states helps me look like some sort of red tape goddess which means job security!

On the whole engineers are a great group to work for - as long as they aren't waiting for test results ;-)
