Any news on the October PE exam results?

I guess, since you will be on vacation from 24 to 28, if we don't get any results before the 24 we need to wait probably up to new year.

those tend to ramp up after folks get their fail letter with the diagnostic report

I remember quite a few of them last time before results were out, with all the people who counted the problems they "knew they got right," maybes, and guesses trying to determine if they passed before results came out.

I think they are flying the results back from the outsourced counrty, and they got delayed in the new security scanners for containing too much graphite from the pencils

sorry i should have said ramp up again. There was a short wave right after the test then it died down again, but it should ramp up

I wonder if they are in India or Thailand or somewhere overseas where labor is cheap? Otherwise, why do they only communicate through chat?????

Back in college there was a professor (for our mechanics class) who took forever to get back to us about a test grade. After about two weeks he came in and went over the results for the first problem (it was a 3-problem test). He then explained that he had been storing the ungraded tests in a box labeled recycling. Long story short, he was unable to locate them after digging around giant mounts of paper at the recycling facility, and asked what the class wanted to do. Unsurprisingly, the response was "everybody gets an A." I knew a couple people who squeaked by and passed because of that incident.

I don't see NCEES giving everyone a pass if something like that happened though. Perhaps a free do-over.

Why? It's just a multiple choice test. Getting the paperwork in was a bigger PITA than the test itself IMO.
