Seeing as how I don't work in the automotive industry, nor do any of my family members, I don't care what they pay their employees. The only benefit I get out of them is their tax money going towards things I use (which is not much, and they dodge lots of taxes).

But your argument falls flat on its face anyway. According to this article, foreign automakers operating in America pay more in wages and bonuses than the UAW contracts pay for jobs at the Big 3.
