I still think of Amway as a cult. I have no idea where I picked up that idea. They recently had a booth at a marathon expo and were handing out energy drinks. I felt like I was at a cult recruitment.

That's because they ARE a cult. I try to avoid western Michigan because of them.... afraid I'm going to get sucked in.

When I was unemployed, I had a friend try to suck me into MaryKay... I watched the DVD, talked to a few people, got some free stuff then said, no thanks... haven't heard from them since, and my hands are silky smooth
