I passed the FE at 23 and the PE at 50 (both on the first time). I was not the oldest exam taker in the room when I took the PE.I'm 46. I passed the PE this year. Anyone here older than me? C'MON MAN! Gotta be someone here! lol
GTFO! lol j/k That's impressive @ChebyshevII PEWhen I passed my PE, I was 26.
FE was 24-25 right out of college, PE first attempt was 2017 at 49, two more attempts didn't pass yet.I passed the FE at 23 and the PE at 50 (both on the first time). I was not the oldest exam taker in the room when I took the PE.
The SE as well, that's awesome!Got you beat at 24 when I first got my PE! Got the SE 2 years later at 26.
Nice job! 24 with the SE is an awesome feat. The SE as well, that's awesome!
Unfortunately COVID got my tests all cancelled/postponed for the better part of 6 months, or I like to think I would have had mine at 24.
There a link to a reddit AMA where a 19 year old claims to be the youngest PE ever.
OP also said they have masters degree, which in some states knocks a year off experience requirement. Not that I am saying this is real, or even if it is, that it is something to be proud of. What kind of childhood is that?I don't buy it. Says they were 16 when they got their first engineering job, and that was outside the US. No way at 19 (just three years later) they would have :
1) Convinced NCEES to accept their experience,
2) Sat for and passed the exam, and
3) Obtained an actual license.
Literally said right in there that 4 years of experience is needed.
The math isn't adding up lol.
