I wanted to know the answer too, what is the next action item? I completed the take home exam and finger printing already. So I passed both my CA specific exams. What’s the next step? I’ve heard we need to apply for a license, and I’ve heard they send us a letter.
Just received my survey results, and I passed!!!!! I’m officially a California PE
Congrats to those who passed, and good luck to those who need to study again. If I made it, you can make it too!
Passed both seismic and survey. What to do next?
Passed surveying too woo! Good job to everyone who passed. Time to celebrate. And good luck to everyone who failed. Just put in the work and it'll pay off.

The Board should contact you if you have not satisfied all requirements. Generally speaking, if you were approved to schedule and sit for the exams, all requirements were met.So anything we need to do from our end or just simply wait for the license number? How about the actual license in paper Board going to mail it?
So, two shots for us tonight, one to celebrate and one to mourn haha :drunk1:Sorry they actually mixed mine and yours up, here let’s switch haha
Survey results came out at 12:11 PM PST.July 2020 results released today, Tuesday Aug 18th. I received my pass notice at 10:46AM PST.
I took CPESR and the course was good for getting the big picture concepts and their reference guide that comes with the course was also invaluable for during the exam. I liked Reza Mahallati's workbook for more challenging questions, however, I found his workbook explanations to be pretty hard to follow as someone with no experience in surveying. This combination worked well for me.Unfortunately, I did not pass surveying. I was wondering if anyone can recommend class or study material that can help me next time.
Ok, I’ll look into CPESR and Reza and hope I can pass surveying in January. I took EET. Passed first try. If you put in the time (2 hours a day for about a month) you should be fine. Take all the practice exams too! It comes with 5.Unfortunately, I did not pass surveying. I was wondering if anyone can recommend class or study material that can help me next time.
Now it's just the matter of time to see when the license number arrive, for those of you who have gone through this do you mind sharing some thought? The Board should contact you if you have not satisfied all requirements. This is what I said earlier in this thread: Licenses are issued every other week. Soonest it would happen with this run is August 28 provided applicant has satisfied all criteriaNow it's just the matter of time to see when the license number arrive, for those of you who have gone through this do you mind sharing some thought?
