IBC and CBC

Does CA seismic Exam accoring to IBC or CBC?? I know they are similar to each other but I need to know the exam specifications?

I did not find anything about that in CA board website.

Does it mention for each problem which code we should use??

Mook,

For the 2.5 hr CA seismic exam, you may use either. This exam will not get so specific.

Now, if you take the SE3..... then you should have the CBC.

You mean SE3 in CA or in WA? As far as I know SE3 in WA requires IBC not CBC.
