Unless you're a traffic engineer and will need this book on a frequent basis in your career, then I would advise not to buy it. Try to borrow one or have your company pay for it. I was fortunate to have my company pay for the AASHTO Green book and the HCM even though we don't do pure transportation engineering work.
It's not worth the cost if there is only 1 or 2 questions on the exam where the ITE handbook would be your only source.
