How long to get a new license number from CA board?

Hello,

I passed PE exam and waiting for the CA board review result. I already had submitted application packet to the board in last October in order to get FE exam waiver. So I expect passing PE exam in this April completes my application and it is under review (I hope).

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to issue a new license number to a new applicant? Do they notify the applicant when they issue the number?

Totally off topic:  Does receiving a waiver for the FE impact one's ability to seek comity licensing in other states?

I don't know. I think it depends on states' requirements for FE exam waiver, which would be more or less the same (or very similar).

Got my number. It was issued on May 24th, so took about 3 weeks after exam result is out.
