How important is BS in engineering?

The company I work for is full of people that the only thing they can do is BS(bull shit) their way around, So BS is important in engineering, I guess.
That's what I thought this post was going to be about ... ... but I was wrong.
No, you are not. There are thousands of "engineers" out there, with degrees from Come and Get It College, that know a jack about engineering so they BS their way. They learn how to talk, even taking Toast Masters classes, and that takes them as far as manager positions. I mean, it does not matter if they do not know the difference between a TV and a microwave oven as long as they can BS their way up.
You know the old saying ... "Those who can't do, review" :)

 
Your first year of college aren't you just taking prereqs anyway? I didnt even declare or take an engineering course until 2nd semester soph year anyway. I dont see how you can be that far behind that you cant choose engineering.

 
Now is the time to switch! Some masters programs wont even accept you unless you have a bachelors in that same field.
