Hi,

I am filling up application for PE exam in WA state. One of the requirements is need of 3 PE references, my employer (manufacturing) doesn't have any PE so where can I get these references? Anyone here willing to help I can prove my credentials.

Thanks

A lot of these posts are popping up lately.

None of us know you from a hole in the wall, so how could we evaluate you? And if we cooked something up, it would also be fraudulent and put our licenses on the line.

Do you have an old college professor or client or regulator that could be a reference? Otherwise, talk to your state board.

I definately dont want anyone to put up reference without knowing me. I am willing to prove my credentials. I know one professor and one of my senior colleague is PhD not sure if that's acceptable in place of PE.

proving credentials vs reference are completely different things. Like VT said call your state board, explain your situation and ask them what your options are. they may make exceptions and it is the boards right to do so.

dont you have past employers? if you do, keep in touch with them. i have experienced this, after almost 2 yrs, my former employer helped me with my questionnaire / reference. they arent willing to cooperate, i sent them the letter that the board is asking for my references. and i thnk the board contacted them and demanded that they should submit the reference questionnaire. i told the board they arent willing to help and i worked with them for several years. good luck.
