I just wanted to fill takers for this spring in on what the location situation was in fall.
For those who went to school there, the test was usaully held in the Ulsvick (sp)/ Student Center (depends on when you went as to what you call it). This building is currently being remodeled, and aparently there are no other apropriate rooms for taking a full day test on campus. This last fall they ended up using the local middle school, because they had the day off for school. This would have been fine, if they had been able to use the gym like intended, but they were not allowed to on Friday (I think they did on Saturday). Instead we had to take the test in classrooms and desks designed for junior high kids.
For this spring if you are interested in taking the test in Platteville, I would get a hold of the head proctor, I'm pretty sure she still works in the general engineering office, and find out what arangments they have made for this spring. I'm guessing they have come up with a better situation, but you never know.
Anyway, I thought I should at least give a heads up. The renovation is supposed to be done in a couple of years, and then the situation should be fine, but for know buyer beware, and good luck to all.
