My client is a leading global insulation specialist in industrial manufacturing and construction markets. They develop solutions to enable safer, efficient, flexible and responsive results to their industrial customer base. Formed in the mid 1980s, the company employs over 100 people in the UK and is part of a larger group who have a presence globally. Job Description
The company's success is founded on its reputation for being a great employer and specifically having ambitious growth plans across the UK, and in Europe. They are looking to grow their organisation by hiring a qualified and established Business Development Manager.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have responsibility for developing and driving the growth plans covering the key accounts within the business. This opportunity is about ensuring strong and sustainable customer relationships, optimising account activity and developing a high level of service. You will be responsible for promoting the Company's range of HPI products within the industrial or process engineering markets.

In addition you will be expected to develop a strong relationship within the companies workshop with the aim of delivering growth within the OEM/material conversion and processing business.

The Successful Applicant
Critical to the success of this Business Development Manager will be previous experience within large key accounts UK Wide, with a results-driven track record of developing and managing multiple stakeholders. Also the candidate will have experience of implementing sales and marketing activities for new channels, whilst able to create sustainable relationships with existing key stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • Ideally degree level educated (engineering background is preferred) or working towards
  • Proven track record in managing large, key accounts
  • A technical understanding of insulation products, in an industrial application
  • Demonstrable ability in analysing business performance, and implementing key account growth
  • Experienced in improving sales performance and implementing change
  • Focused on sales development, adding value and consistently high service levels
  • Adaptable to work both technically and commercially
  • Adept at managing complex negotiations associated with multi-channel & multi-site
  • Creative and dynamic influencer
  • Adept at influencing internal and external decision makers at all levels, including Board
  • Using innovative techniques to take new ideas to market
  • Strong ethics: work honestly and with integrity
