Most likely doing an NYC ---> Florida drive next year and Fayetteville is just about the midpoint of the trip.

Supe, anything good to see around Fayetteville, NC?

Nope. I think there's a Joe's Crab Shack, but that's all she wrote. Went once to pick up a car, never plan on going back.

That's what I was afraid of. Looked up some of the 'attractions:'

Fascinate-U Children's Museum
Fun Fun Fun at Hope Mills
Monkey Joe's

^^ Looks about right for my kid but not much for the older folks.

There is a TON to do in Fayetteville... I lived there from 2003 to 2008. Are you just looking for an overnight, stop on the way through to FL? if you only have time for something short hit up down town, and go to the airborne and special ops museum and then get a fried bologna sandwich from Vicks drive in

Oh that was also on the list, thanks for reminding me. Yeah it's going to be an overnight stopover each way. Will probably get there mid-afternoon.

the city worked really hard to clean up down town and it's pretty quaint, there is a diner in the haymont area that has awesome dives, also you can pretty much find anything on (or just off of) Erie Blvd... the mall is over that way and they have all the chain restaurants and stuff over there... just don't stay east of 95

Thanks, I'll have to map it out. Whatever we don't catch on the drive down we can take a look at on the way back to NYC.
