Exam advice for sun-belt structural I takers

Review the snow loading provisions of the IBC - I didn't even think about this, and was forced to learn them during the exam. There were a handful of questions on the 10/2008 exam regarding snow/drift loading.

The good news is, it is fairly straightforward and brief. Still, I probably spent about 15 minutes making sure I understood things.

Oh yeah, bring a straight edge for pulling values from the graphs.

snow...not that bad to figure out but looking at it before hand will be loads of help...wind on the other hand...I feel sorry for the test takers if they put a real wind question on the test.
