Dang! I just looked up Vermont’s population. I thought Montana was sparse. A million people feels huge in comparison to 600k.

You said sparse... but to be fair. Montana is literally 145x the size of Vermont. If you look at population Vermont is pretty average and Montana is near the bottom.
