Since the garage door is a non-continuous load there is no need to multiply FLA by 125% and since the wire is obviously in free air then the #14 is good for its full 35A rating and since this in W. Virginia as was pointed out earlier, there is no need for an ambient temperature adjustment, the 30 degree Celsius assumption is sufficient.
