Hi,

Having problems with this one:

1) Looking at the solution, why is the value of L runout = 150’ and not 450’? (since 150’ is only L/3, i.e. the L runoff in the curve! – this info is given in the problem statement in the table and also in the solution to problem 135).

2) Why is T runout = 300’, and not 2L as in problem statement, i.e. why isn't it 2*450’ (L=450' from problem 135) = 900’?

Can any one help, please?

I think somebody posted about this same problem here long ago.Can't find it but I'm sure it is there.
