CBC - is it necessary to have in the exam?

For folks that have taken the seismic exam - do you need a copy of the Building Code? Are there lots of questions that you could lookup in the code? I have heard that some people can pass with just Hiner's book or another one, but what do you all think?

I took a copy of the code in with me and tabbed the most important parts. I used it in conjuction with the Hiner to solve the exam problems.

Definitely carry the code.. it sure helps...

alsomay be a good idea if u can even read the relevant topics from it...

i just used the code to solve the 345 solved problems book..

it did wonders to me!
