Can I transfer my license to other states?

I just got CA PE license, and my family might move to New York next year.

is it possible that i can use my license over there or i need to take the exam over there again?

You can apply for licensure by comity in New York but need to complete all the necessary paperwork. More information on how to go about that can be found here (I assume you start with "Form 3"). If you plan to be licensed in multiple states, I would suggest establishing a record with NCEES.
