The only limits I know of are the requirement for pages to be bound and written in ink... other than that, ANYTHING can be written on the pages - though I should caveat, if you've somehow managed to subvert the examination security and you know the questions in advance, I don't recommend writing the questions and answers in your reference books! Can I bring Foreign language textbook to the exam?i'm going to take the exam at CA.
anyone has experience?
LoL, thank you buddy! The only limits I know of are the requirement for pages to be bound and written in ink... other than that, ANYTHING can be written on the pages - though I should caveat, if you've somehow managed to subvert the examination security and you know the questions in advance, I don't recommend writing the questions and answers in your reference books!
I have no experience, but my answer remains "Yes, you can."
California doesn't have any such restrictions... you can read about them here, which is linked from http://www.pels.ca.gov/applicants/2008tips.shtml.Personally, I would call your state board first and make sure. At worst, they will say no, and you still have two months to prepare for taking the test without that book. At best, they will say it's not a problem.
A few states don't allow certain types of books (usually worked examples), so those states may not allow something in a language that the proctors can't read.
