Congratualations to all new PE's and EIT's !!!!

For those that didn't make it this time, do NOT give up.... keep at it... you will pass !!! I was in the same boat this time last year. Had my letter -- first failure. Failed PE twice, but passed on third time. You CAN do it !!!

I got my letter that I passed but my name is not in on the online database yet, so I called the board and they said they are still updating and it will show up by friday.

You can look up your name at the board website to see if you are in the database. If luckily you passed and your name has been added, you can start to celebrate. But don't feel discouraged if you don't see your name since the updating of database is not done yet.

It appears they are updating the databases by the respective branches.Electrical has been updated for sure.

I was going to say... Do a print screen or snag your desktop, and copy it to a powerpoint, as proof. That's what I did, when I got my results on-line... just to make sure. No need for that now, after your last post, CONGRATULATIONS !!! :multiplespotting:

Does anyone have experience with comity applications & CA board? I live in CA now. I have passed all my CA specific exams and my 8 hour is from out of state(passed). For some reason my result letter after it says that I passed all my exams, still states I failed to appear for my civil exam (which when I called one board member admitted was an error and told me to ignore the sitting for the 8 hour exam) wish I had gotten his name. Now my name still does not appear in the database and I have been calling and emailing the board in vain. No one returns calls or emails. Very frustrating!!!

I only have a letter saying I passed all my exams and also saying I did not appear for my exam.

any advice?

Don't know if somebody else posted this, but pass rates are up.

I called them on Friday, only to find all 3 people involved in the updating of the database " we out", including the Main Person, Michael Donelson, who is on vacation for TWO WEEKS, right when the results come out, crazy.....

Still not all the names have been posted, for many of the branches, civil apparently is updated.

I finally got my name added to the data base and got my PE license # Hooray!!!

They are going to send out a new letter home for my reciprocity application.

The person incharge in the CA board said she was out sick for a couple of days.

anyway I am glad it did not turn out to be a big head ache.

Hey Californians

Today is January 7th and I got my certificate today. If you haven't gotten yours, expect it soon. Congrats to all the new Cali PEs once again!!!!!

I got my "wallet certificate" for CA yesterday. It's basically a flimsy piece of paper you have to cut out on your own. And they expect that thing to last in your wallet. Cheesy.

Anyway, I don't mean to sound all whiny, but this wallet certificate was truly underwhelming. I even wish my wall certificate was as cool looking as, say, Captain Worley's (without the frame job!). Oh well, CA has a huge deficit to pay off and cuts have to come from somewhere, right?
