I have recently run into the trend that the "conslutant" civil engineer is required to take the water from the main to the builiding that is to be served. Initially in my career, I have seen many MEP's be required to design the water line from the water main to the building. I guess I am concerned with the demands a builidng will have compared to a planned development. (i.e. sprinklers, fire flow, ect...) If you have any information please let me know.
