[SIZE=10pt]You will join our growing systems engineering team, where you work across a number of projects. As one of our systems engineers, you could get to work on the Type 45 Destroyer, Type 26 Frigate and the Queen Elizabeth Aircraft Carriers.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Your main responsibilities as a Systems Engineer will involve: [/SIZE]

  • Conducting a wide range of activities including feasibility studies, research, design, development and post design services, involving the full Engineering Lifecycle, to meet defined project or business requirements
  • [SIZE=10pt]Delivering systems engineering solutions to agreed time, cost and quality to meet project or business milestones[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=10pt]Liaising with MOD establishments, test facilities, sub-contractors and customers as required to satisfy the needs of project or the busines[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=10pt]Ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with Company, Safety, Environmental, contractual and local business processes, standards, procedures and documentation[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=10pt]Drafting, vetting and editing technical reports or other documents relevant to, or required by, a particular task in order to ensure that technical findings can be successfully communicated with recipients[/SIZE]
  • Ensuring adequate integration with other engineering functions involved with a particular task or programme of work to ensure all aspects of the system design are considered
  • [SIZE=10pt]Adopting a professional approach to all systems design solutions to ensure knowledge and skills keep pace with the technology[/SIZE]
[SIZE=10pt]Your skills and qualifications as a Systems Engineer[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]You will be qualified to degree level, in engineering or closely related discipline, or an equivalent level of competence and hold experience in using Systems Engineering Lifecycle.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Your skills and qualifications as a Systems Engineer will ideally include[/SIZE][SIZE=10pt]:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Professional registered status such as Chartered Engineer (CEng) and experience working with high integrity or safety-critical systems. [/SIZE]
