[SIZE=medium]A challenging new opportunity has arisen for a Product Safety professional within the Typhoon Export Support and Training Team based at Warton.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Reporting to the Support Solution Safety Team Leader, the successful applicant will help support the achievement of affordable, sustainable, integrated and safe support and training solutions for the Typhoon export customers, which will meet their through life support requirements. This will include supporting Engineering Life-Cycle activities.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Your main responsibilities as a Product Safety Engineer (Typhoon Aircraft) will involve:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Maintaining a safety culture within the Typhoon Export Support organisation[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Supporting the development and maintenance of project support safety strategies[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Providing guidance to projects to develop their safety deliverables[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Reviewing the safety assurance / safety cases for projects' support safety documentation deliverables such as:[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Your key skills and qualifications as a Product Safety Engineer (Typhoon Aircraft) will ideally include:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]This role requires a self-motivated individual who is able to communicate at all levels both verbally and via the written word. The applicant will be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in an engineering subject, and either be, or aspire to be, a member of a professional engineering institute. Preferably, the applicant will have an understanding of the Eurofighter project or integrated support solution development, and be comfortable working in a customer focussed environment. Travel will be required within the UK and potentially to Europe and customers' locations in the Far and Middle East.[/SIZE]

- [SIZE=medium]Supporting the organisation and management of projects' Support Safety Working Groups (SWG)[/SIZE]
[SIZE=medium]Your key skills and qualifications as a Product Safety Engineer (Typhoon Aircraft) will ideally include:[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=medium]Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or have equivalent experience[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=medium]Working experience of product safety[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=medium]Risk analysis experience[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=medium]Experience of Eurofighter Typhoon support – highly advantageous [/SIZE]
- [SIZE=medium]Experience of Integrated Military aircraft support – highly advantageous[/SIZE]
