Lady Squaretaper and I recently signed up to foster doggos and kittehs at the animal shelter. Picking up our first foster tonight. Poor thing was neglected and dumped.

It's a girl doggo. We have our own resident doggo, two cats, and four guinea pigs. But we have a separate room to quarantine (shelter rules) the foster doggo.

That's a lot of pets! But probably good for the fostered pet, if they're going to ever be socialized... How long does the quarantine have to last?

It's just ten days and really it's to protect the resident critters. That's about enough time for the incubation period for the main communicable diseases to present themselves.
