Wait, I missed the toaster and toaster oven discussion. I would like to add my support for the toaster oven as being the single best kitchen appliance I own (let's see if I like my new Ninja blender more, but it is doubtful).

In fact, my guy and I have lived for several years without a microwave and without a regular toaster. I can pretty much do anything I want to do with a stovetop, an oven, and a toaster oven. Throw a blender in there, and give me a splurge of my KitchenAid mixer, and I'm basically totally set!
