Vega trivia: They were shipped vertically standing on their tails. This required special baffling in the oil pan.

 
Note that on the RX-2 section, they made a huge error. The rotary engine used in the Mazda is NOT the rotary used in aircraft engines in the early part of the 20th century.
Good call. It was a Wankel, not a true rotary, which could have made the article that much funnier.

Still, Wankel engines are engineeringly cool.
