Based on what's in the National Archives and other documents that have been released plus the findings of the HSCA, the CIA was the organizing, operational and cover-up party in this assassination. Once you know the facts about Oswald's background and his associations, it all makes sense. He was exactly what he called himself, a patsy. However, the U.S. government will never admit this publicly for obvious reasons. In Washington, "truth" is not absolute, it is relative. Whatever they can get people to believe is the "truth". Nothing else matters.
