    OHIO - RESULTS

After I passed the Oct '06 Enviro PE exam, I didn't receive anything in writing from the PE board until Feb 2007. However, before you get a PE number you need to send them a $30 registration fee. After they receive the fee, I think the license look up was updated in mid/late January 2007.

    Difficulty of the Environmental Exam

I was suprised to find that the Enviro PE exam was actually understandable (much to my surprise). Especially, since my educational background is a B.S. in ChE, so all my environmental background coming from on-job-training. Based on what I have encountered thus far, I consider Enviro. Eng to...

CONSOLIDATED ADVICE THREAD: Env PE Exam

Welcome Mahendra! In general this is what I did: Began studying approximately 2 hrs every night in early August (for the Oct PE exam) by the reading EnvERM cover to cover and working problems. I also took a PE exam review class which really helped since I have been out of school for quite a...

    Anyone other Envls here?

There is probably more here than you think. I have a BS ChE and passed the October 06 Env PE (very suprising) I have been dealing with wastewater issues for over 16 years.

    WHAT IS YOUR DEGREE?

I received a BS ChE in 1988, and passed the E.I.T. exam in the Spring of '88. Since then I have spent approximately 16 years in the environmental field (wastewater treatment mostly). Recently pass the October '06 Enviro PE exam. Most of my experience has been on-the-job training and work...

Congrats and welcome. I know what you mean, I've been out of school for 18 years. My 2.5- 3 months of studying paid off. Passed the Enviro PE 1st time too.

    WHAT DID YOU DO RIGHT?

I read it/used it mainly for putting some structure in my very old, rusty, and poor study habits. Aside from the ENVRM, I found the NCEES Envro practice exam very helpful.

    WHAT DID YOU DO RIGHT?

For me, this is what I did to prepare for the exam: 1. Ordered the Environmental PE review package from "the other board" and the NCEES 100 Enviro PE exam practice problems. 2. Began studying 2 hrs every night in early August by the reading EnvERM cover to cover and working problems. I quit...

    Cross Disciplinary Licensure?

Tucents, I was in the same situation you are in. I received by BS ChE in 1988 and eventually ended up doing wastewater plan review, NPDES permitting and wasteload allocations. I was fortunate to have taken the E.I.T. (n.k.a the FE) as a senior, so that was not an issue. I had toyed with...
