You will need to wait 1 year from your last attempt. For example if your last attempt was 4-12-22, you will not be allowed to re-apply until 5-12-23. A different licensed PE will need to sign off your SER and Reference Statement form. You will have to go through the same process like before.

I am from Texas as we. You have to wait 1 year since your last exam to apply. Alternative is to have a different PE to sign off or verify your additional work experience.

We need to compile a list of everyone that wants to join, availability, when he or she planning to re-take the exam, depth, etc. I am in Texas and availability to meet on weekend. I plan to retake in March/April.

We can share codes, notes and courses taken. I have taken both breadth/depth EET and SOPE in transportation.

I am on the same boat as you. I’ve been out of school for quite some time since the Atlanta summer Olympic. I’ve gone over the reference book they have provided. I hope the CBT questions are based on the reference.

I hope the CBT for civil has more concepts than problem solving.

Any prep course that will help with CBT exam? Or just stick and review the prep course materials that I have already taken such as sope and eet.

I still haven’t gotten over the hump of passing after this 4th attempt. I thought I’ve done well enough to pass.

I went over it briefly on the transportation section of the PE civil reference manual. It’s missing a lot of information on Highway capacity. I didn’t see anything on MUTCD, Highway safety, and RDG. I assume we will not be tested on these sections for the CBT exam next April.

October will be the last pencil exam. I am determined to pass this. Not looking forward to the CBT exam.

So no other references, practice exams and binders are allowed for the CBT exam?

I took failed after 3 attempts in Texas. I re-applied after year and got approved. I am planning to take it again this October and hopefully pass it this time.

Is that your exam result? What made you decide on taking the WRE instead of taking the Transportation depth again on the 4th attempt?

The result will come out this Thursday December 12th. Last year it came out on December 6th.
