The 43 is for the HVAC depth and not for the Mech and Machine Design. Please note, all the depths have different cut scores and the 43 is not the true cut score for this exam, as it is only speculation based on some results posted on this topic.

Yes, i made the same assumption after i placed the post and reread the post by t_maghani.

t_moghani, Is this cut score of 49 correct problems for the Mechanical/HVAC? Does not correlate with Texas 42 problems correct with a 69% grade. Strange to have a 42 as 69% when 49 was also considered failing. Now wondering if different states have different cut scores. Hmmmm.

you are correct, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but whatever you say or do will not change your result. So just relax and enjoy the ride.

You guys must be young booty and green behind the ears. You do realize that we are a bigger state than texas and have additional exams, such as the seismic and the survey for the civil pe. Just relax and wait for the results. Bitching and wining will not give you a passgrade.

Thanks for posting your failing scores, as it gives us some insight into the passing scores. It does take some heart to come back to this blog and post again after failing. I have been there before and appreciate your input.

ME-HVAC 44/80 In the same boat. Studied a total of 4 hours before the exam. Too many children activities. I usually do not like going cold turkey, but I had already paid for the exam so I just sat in.
