How is everyone feeling about their CA specific exams from last month? Hopefully results are out on time after that BPELSG glitch.

This is my second time taking the Seismic Exam. I felt confident the first time I took it but failed (used Hiner stuff to study). This time around I got the AEI practice exams. The questions were harder, but I think the AEI practice problems represent the actual exam better. I even got two questions that is almost exactly like from the AEI.
I think I did much better this time. We'll see. Still have survey to take next quarter.

I was also wondering if the glitch would have any impacts on the release date. I was expecting results to be released yesterday.
Second time taking the exam. First time I only studied Hiners course + practice exam.
This time I added AEI. I feel I did better but waiting on the results to truly know. Could be a toss.

Second time not passing.
Any advice?
I feel I understand it just seem to be having an approach to exam issue. Skipping all hard ones coming back and trying to figure out which problems to attack. Anyways any advise would be greatly appreciated.
I took Hiner course and practice exams like: AEI, Hiners and engineer prepare.

Sorry to hear that. I also took the Hiner course and thought it prepared me well but I also wasn't sure whether I aced it or not.
Are you timing yourself when taking the practice exams? what are you scoring on the practice exams and the CBT exams? if you're getting over 75% timed you should be good. Review the solutions too incase you're solving some problems incorrectly but somehow arriving to the same solution out of luck.
how efficiently are you using your reference material? I tried to use Hiner's quick reference material and rarely refer to the workbook/7-16. The exam is a bit of a sprint so you gotta burn through the questions quickly.

I solved all SDR, AEI and PPI practice problems. Also, if you dont have it, make sure to print out the IBC codes. Specially the sections for the risk categories (make sure youre familiar with the group type) and special inspection. I got quite a few questions on the exam where the answers are found on IBC. Looks like you are really close to passing. You got it!

He provides a decent reference book that is already tabbed up. My only complaint with CESPR is that all the problems/practice exams are online. There were some tricky curve questions on my exam, but overall, I felt more confident walking out of surveying than seismic.
