Use of ACI 318-08 instead of ACI 318-05

Hello All,

I have a copy of ACI 318-08 that I bought last year. Do you guys think it will be fine to use this version of ACI 318 instead of the 318-05? Did anyone use this edition for the test? What do you guys think?

Appendix D is quite different. ACI318-08 is more specific in regards to hairpins and items in D6-D8. This is just from memory, so please check for yourself. Also, chapter 11 for shear has been totally reorganized (I can't remember if that transition was between ACI318-02 to '05 or if it was between '05 to '08).
