Is the TR-55 a necessary reference to bring to the Civil - WR exam?
I think TR-55 or a similar group of references can be helpful for the exam, but not a necessity. I did not bring TR-55 to the exam, but I had other references that offered the same information.

So ... if you have the means to bring the manual, I would bring it. Otherwise, I wouldn't get out of my way to do so. Big thing is knowing formulae and where to find information like time to concentration, curves, etc.

If you have the latest copy of the CERM and your College Hydrology book you will not need the TR-55 manual.
