i understand how to get poles and zeros of the transfer function.

But how did they get that each zero contributes +20db and

each pole contributes -20db.

is this in the reference manual anywhere?

thanks for your help, it continues on page 32-8 also. i was looking in chapter 63.

i'm not feeling this bode plot stuff.
