I still hate flying, but connectivity to the outside world is pretty nice!
Okay, so it's not all that great.Whoa! Does it make you forget that you're trapped in a tiny space with lots of other people?
They put WiFi on a MD-88? I read somewhere that they were going to start providing access on airliners but I figured it would be reserved for the wide body jets.I'm also tracking my flight on flightaware. DL1013 if anyone else wants to track our progress.
I was shocked myself. This is also been the most friendly and helpful flight attendants I've seen in 5 years. They put WiFi on a MD-88? I read somewhere that they were going to start providing access on airliners but I figured it would be reserved for the wide body jets.
^My last commercial flight was a flight from Milwaukee to Las Vegas last year. The attendants were pretty friendly on that flight. Of course, I still felt like I was just so much cattle being herded into a little metal tube.....
I wish. Of course, this flight was 1 hour late, so I'm sure I'll miss my connection to BHM.Are you driving to AL after you land in ATL?
Edit, I hope for your sake you get on the ground quicly, there's a pretty good line of thunderstorms firing up right now and crossing in to GA.
I feel like a stalker!Okay, so it's not all that great.

There's no sneaking anywhere on an IFR flight plan. Both my wife and my boss use flightaware to keep track of me when I'm traveling. I had to divert to an alternate airport last year due to weather. My cell phone rings 5 minutes after I land with my boss asking me what I was doing in La Crosse Wisconsin.I feel like a stalker!
LaCrosse is slang in Canada...My cell phone rings 5 minutes after I land with my boss asking me what I was doing in La Crosse Wisconsin.
