BS 2003

EIT, PhD, MBA 2009 (Busy year I know!)

PE 2012, first try

So three years out of grad school, nine years out of undergrad.

I was originally slated to take it in October 2011 but changed jobs and states before I could.

EIT April 2006

BS Chemical engineering May 2006

Passed the 8 hour NCEES exam Civil-water resources/environmental Oct 2012 first try.

fingers still crossed on the two state exams! i didnt do seismic or surveying in school or at work...so i had to learn it for the PE.

 
16 yrs out of school passed FE 2009, 18 yrs out of school passed PE Oct. 2012, 42yrs old. I had to do something during the recession. lol

Graduated 1994 from Cal

 
BSCE - 1999

FE - 1999

Passed Civil/Structural PE - Oct 2012

So that's about 13.5 years after graduating.

I did something similar. I graduated in 1992 (20 years out of school) and justed passed my EIT Oct 2011 and PE OCT 2012, 45 yrs old. Congrats to us!
 
BSME : MAy 2008

sat for OCT 2012 exam, passed

it was the first one i was eligible for ( 4 yrs)

 
got MS in june '08...passed PE in April 2010...so less than 2 yrs.
