HCM- Traffic Analysis? or traffic Volume?

Hi guys,

Since I studied Transpo as a depth, I have had a question about the HCM how to determine a number of lanes.

Ex) given: 8900 vehicles per day. how many lanes should have the street have?

I couldn't find the table in HCM. if anybody knows, please let me know.

Hi,

I guess you need to determine the # of lanes based on the other factors along with the number of vehicles!!! Those factors are located in HCM Exhibits:

21-2.21-3,21-4,21-8,23-8,21-6,21-5,23-3.
