OR..... You can clean the floor really well then pour some tinted epoxy down like they do for some bars. (You know the ones where they pour over beer caps or baseball cards or something)

Or better yet, do like I did for my basement- get the vinyl wood planks from HD and lay those down. Pet resistant too!
