Hello to all. I just received my FAILED notice from the Tennessee Board. I took the controls test in October. I took a review course last summer and put a lot of time into it during the last month or so before the exam. I missed 33 out of 80 questions. I missed all 4 problems on the "Final Control Elements: Pressure Relieving Devices" section. I did not spend much time on this section and I thought I had it down.
I plan to put about 2 hours a week into it starting next week.
My advice to all first timers is to start early just put a small amount of time in each week.
