Foreign Equivalency Certification

Good day guys!

I was just wondering because an employer required me to submit an FEC even though I got my degree from an ABET accredited program. Is it possible that they didn't recognize ABET? Because they given me list of agencies where can I get an FEC. He also told me that as long as the school is outside USA . It is a requirement to have such certification.

Hey Taurus,

Other than the NCEES Credentials Evaluation, another service is World Education Services, found here. These two are most commonly used when looking to gain acceptance to sit for the FE or PE, but if this is a requirement coming from your employer, they may accept other services outside of these two.
